About Beechwood Farm and Artisan Bakery
Beechwood farm is a family run business based near kinsale where we run a free range egg business and now the addition of a farm bakery. Siobhan O' Regan ( nee Lyons) worked as a chef in many restaurants / hotels after completing a culinary arts & advanced pastry course in CIT.
After marrying her husband Brian & starting a family she stepped down from her role as a head chef . In 2012 Siobhan saw a gap in the market for good quality baking & when they had there own fresh free range eggs it was the obvious thing to do.
They use all good quality local ingredients when possible eg Bandon butter, Macroom wholemeal flour & Clona Buttermilk & there own free range eggs. Siobhan has scooped two awards already over the years, the latest being voted best Christmas Pudding 2012 by the Irish Examiner.
